your image does engage with its texture, mood, composition. in that respect it is for me a work of art. however it raises for me the somewhat academic question of what constitutes a photograph.
Two responses to what constitutes a photograph. In this case the image was made by a “photographic process” by light hitting a photosensitive material to record an image, and subsequently manipulating and combining those images. So in a technical sense, it is surely a photograph. More broadly I am interested in creating images rather than simply making photographs. If the image elicits an emotional response it is successful regardless of label applied to it.
